Mr. Jeon holds a Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago. He finished his Masters of Arts in Teaching at National Louis, Chicago.
This year is Mr. Jeon's 15th year in education. He taught 7 years as a math teacher in Chicago Public Schools. He taught at Eastside for 3 years as the math department chair. For the last five years, he has been an assistant principal at Eastside.
Mr. Jeon is a firm believer in the growth potential of all students in every area of academia and life. Understanding that it really does take a village to raise a child, his focus is to work together with teachers, staff and parents to help each student grow and never give up. Believing that quality education happens at the cross section of quality pedagogy, quality learning, and quality academic content, he strives to both support teachers in their teaching practice and help students grow as lifelong learners.
